Shrovetide/carnival in Denmark

Yesterday was the big day of the danish tradition Shrovetide. In our garden in the heart of Copenhagen, we celebrate the Shrovetide/carnival. Mika became the King of the cats, and got a crone and the parents were more than proud. And the little lady beside him became the Queen of the cats, they were so cute together.
Denis and I had made the rabbit costume together and night last week....and that was a hard night of work.

      Åhh tak Sabine, vi var meget stolte - jeg var lige ved at løbe en sejers runde i gården, da han blev kattekonge - men tænkte at det ville være forkert forbillede for mika at hovere foran de andre børn: )
