Today I just want to show one of my old paintings. I am cleaning up my studio and making room for me to do more paintings here in 2014. Looking so much forward to that.

Jenny Wilson, Studio life, Alt for Damerne" and Graphic Designer Fie Sahl

It is Friday and our studio looks so cosy with decorations put up by graphic designer Fie Sahl for her reception yesterday. Graphic Designer Fie Sahl recently started in our creative studio. We all welcome her and looks forward to be inspired by her graphic style.

In the new issue of the danish Magazine "Alt for Damerne" you can see one of my Christmas illustration. I have all ready done four other Christmas illustration for the magazine this year. And the next couple of weeks you will see some more drawing from me in their magazine.

Today we are listening to Jenny Wilsons latest Album and next year we will go and be captured by her wild music  live in Vega.

Christmas Marked and Den Sorte Skole.

On our cosy Christmas marked the 7 and 8th of December from 10am - 6 pm Lisa Marie Andersson from @upthewoodenhills will join us and sell her poetic origami figures. Address: underwerket, slagtehusgade 44 1tv., Copenhagen v.

I am going to buy a bunch of her beautiful Origami balls. I LOOOVE them, they will look perfect on a Christmas Tree.

New Christmas illustrations in the danish "Magazine Alt for Damerne"

I must say that I have really enjoyed making this series of Christmas illustration for the danish magazine "Alt for Damerne". This is the fourth and 3 more is to come the next couple of weeks. I have used old vintage christmas illustrations as inspiration for this assignment.

Today it is friday and later this evening I will be listening to Trentemøller at Vega. Love this music, thanks to my sweet husband Denis for inviting me.

Again I will have a crazy illustration weekend 3 illustration jobs need to be done during next week. 

Cosy Autumn, home, leaves and StilLeben

Last week has been filled with lots of cosy home life. Fixing the apartment because of a a visit from Amsterdam, drinking tea, buying autumn berries and dropping by stylish StilLeben with new prints.

Concert and inspiration

Tonight I am going to listen to one of my favorite female singers Ane Bruun. It is in the concert hall Vega. In our studio we always listen to music and it is a big inspiration source for me. So I am trilled and so excited about hearing her live tonight.

A week full of Illustration jobs

This week will be busy with a bunch of illustration jobs. So I will take out my big sketch book, and make my pencils ready for a drawing week.
The café latte is ready and lots of organic dark menthe chocolate is on my desk. And Bonobo is playing  in the studio.

Todays music Trentemøller

Today and more days to come we will be listening to the new album with Trentemøller. It is F..king awesome. Looking forward to hear him at Vega in November.

Working days in studio.

These days we are working on different projects. Packing orders, writing articles and making a lot of poetic illustrations. And we are listening to COLETTE LOVES ANDREA CREWS, drinking cream tea and eating lunch from WeDOFood. And enjoying the sunshine.

Concert with The Savage Rose

Yesterday night I was at a fantastic concert in DR concert hall with The Savage Rose (sorry this link is in danish). Seeing Anisette at the age of 64 years old and dancing like an native indian on her bare feet and singing about love, freedom, justice and beating hearts - that just reminds me of what is important and magic in life. She and her awesome band just gave so much GOOOOD LOOOOVE and that was pure love. And the big round full moon outside the concert hall made it even more magic and intense. Halleluja what a lady.....

I f***ing love this band. I have been listening to their music from my teen years to now. They remind my of what is pure, authentic and unique. So much different of many values of today.
