Inspiring café in Gøteborg - daMatteo

Last week Denis Sytmen and I went to Gøteborg to do a homestory/photoshoot. Afterwards we went to a very cool and laid back café called daMatteo.  If you are going to Gøteborg, you should really visit this place - you can buy great coffee too.

Yesterday Denis Sytmen and I went to Göteborg to do at photo-shoot at the home of sweet fashion designer Lisa Marie Andersson from "Up the Wooden Hills". It is always great to move your energy to another spot and meet new people, and see the swedish country side on the road. Love a little adventure.

Summer in France

Summer has been sweet. We have enjoyed 2 weeks in south of France. Good walks, good friends, good food, good inspiration and lots of sunshine.

A sweet trip to the danish island Ærø

Mika and I took the train and ferry to my mothers island Ærø. It was a cosy trip with my sweet son Mika and it is always great to return to my beloved Ærø. The next days we will be celebrating my mothers birthday, bike, go to the beautiful village and walk on the beach. Congratulation my dear mother.....

Beautiful flower

Just before leaving Trancoso, Brazil - I got this beautiful flower of my little gentleman Mika. Look how fantastic it looks. The humming birds loves these flowers, and so do I.

Painting "My Sweet Love"

This is the second painting I have done in Trancoso, Brazil. The title of the painting is "My Sweet Love". All my love goes to Helena, my old and new friends and my tropical life in Brazil.

This is how one of my paintings, ended look like. "Ask the moon" is the title of this painting. Today we will be back in Copenhagen, after a great stay in my beloved Trancoso, Brazil. Our bodies are full of green tropical energy and inspiration.

New paintings and company of the little artist

Right now I have started a new paining. I paint in the studio, in our house and outside. It is good for me to see the painting in different environments. I often have the little artist Mika around me, and he wants to show his work too. On the second photo he had put his paintings up himself, he also want to see how his work act in different environments. I am such a proud mother.

Easter party at the Novogratz.

The other evening we went to a great Easter Party at the Novogratz family, it was the first time we have been celebrating easter the american way. It way fun, cosy and colorful.  We contributed with a cut out paper garland (see picture) and some decorative colored eggs.(the ones hanging on the flowers at the first picture)Thank you Robert and Courtney for inviting us.

 

My return with my painting Sleeping Monkey

It was such a great return with my painting Sleeping Monkey, which I made last winter I was in Brazil. Now it is hanging in the house of Saga Israelson from Divino Productions here in Trancoso Brazil. If somebody like the paintings you can buy a numbered and signed print of the painting here.

Two artists in the family

I just love my little Brazilian inspired artist - MIKA GRUE SYTMEN...... It makes his mother proud, when he paint so playful with the colors. 

Jungle painting - my studio

Here in the jungle you can just cut of some banana leaf to use as a mat for your paint supplies - I just love that. It is so F**king inspiring. And look at the view from my painting studio.

Today it is painting day

Today it is painting day but it is great to start your day like this.I feel so great full to be a part of all the growth here in Trancoso; Brazil.

Frames for my paintings

Making frames/canvas here in Trancoso for my paintings is not the same as in Copenhagen. This is not Stelling art center. We are lucky, that we got good friends here. Who are so generous and helpful with us. They went to the carpenter and afterwards helping us to set up the canvas. A huge thanks to Damion and his family.
